Two New Gimmick Press Chapbooks

Gimmick Press is excited to announce we have agreed to publish two new chapbooks.

The first scheduled release is Live Nude Guys, a chapbook of gay erotic poetry by Shane Allison, and after that, we will release Mark James Andrews' Motor City is Burning & Other Rock n' Roll Poems.

Shane Allison has been writing poetry since he was fifteen, hiding away in his school library, scribbling sappy love verse about boys in notebooks. His poetry has graced the pages of over a hundred literary magazines and a plethora of anthologies. His first poetry collection, Slut Machine, was published by Queer Mojo Press. His second book, I Remember, was published by Future Tense Books. He has edited over twenty anthologies of gay erotic fiction, and has two published novels, Harm Done and You're the One I Want, both from Strebor Books. When he's not writing, he's drawing and making collages. Shane is hard at work on finishing up a new novel.

Mark James Andrews is a poet who has worked a checkered career as a gravedigger, inspector at a defunct auto plant, and jail librarian. His poems journey through dark places while never ceasing to search for the distant light.  He is the author of Burning Trash (Pudding House), Compendium 20/20 (Deadly Chaps), and a poetry CD Brylcreem Sandwich. His poems, stories, and nonfiction have appeared in over 50 print and online publications and anthologies. He lives in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Why not? Elmore Leonard lived in Bloomfield Hills, didn't he?

Both chapbooks are scheduled for publication prior to summer 2018.
